Sissy in Greek Goddess Costume

We received the Greek Goddess Costume for this review. I could tell by the feel and look of the costume that it is high quality. I would be able to pass this down to Baby Girl once she is older! The bottom dress is a little sheer but that won't be a problem since she has an undergarment that she could wear. It's also going to be Halloween and usually it's cold and/or rainy!

The Creative Minds and other activities would be perfect for the 4 and up group. It's a fun and educational way to read the book to my kids!

Sissy was excited to get the book. She's interested in fairies and make-believe stories, so this was perfect for her. We've been reading it together for the past week or so during bedtime (only quiet time we can get). She really enjoyed the book so far. The book is easy to read and flow easily. This is a chapter book she actually can understand. I've tried to HP before but she couldn't get into it.

I received Ten For Me as a hard copy. I like the colorful pictures throughout the book. Bubbie likes helping me say the addition problems and then scream 10 at the end. The repetition will be great for his memorization when it's time for him to learn his math! Sissy thought it was too easy but I reminded her that it's a picture book for little kids! She actually listened through the end. The kids did enjoy the book.

It all started 9 yrs 9 months ago when my daughter was born. Back then, I used to have a "regular camera" where you put the films in and bring it to the store to have it developed! It reminded me of my dad. He still had one until I recently brought him a digital camera this Father's Day! It was actually hilarious trying to see my dad snap pictures and cranking the camera up :D The good-old-days...NOT! After about the 2nd kids the family went digital. The pictures did dwindle down a bit, sorry Bubbie and Baby Girl. (But I did get their baby books done!)

The winter season will be here sooner than I think it would be. I did a Christmas Card in 2008. Gosh, has it been that long since I did another one?! I don't know if you can see the pic. This was when Baby Girl was only 7 months old. She wasn't too happy with Santa. Sissy's trying to comfort her. There's plenty of different backgrounds to choose from and it's like I mentioned before, easy to personalize.

Looks like I have 2 projects to do this winter: a Christmas card and a photobook of the new baby!

Ay Caramba, Muchachos

I took the kids to see the family last week for one more time before school started. Also my mom's little chihuahua, Sushi, had her puppies. All three of them! Sissy wants the only girl in the bunch.

She been working very hard to earn good points with Mommy and Daddy so that she could have one! She been helping around the house more and less whiney. And I haven't had to repeat myself to request her to do stuff!!! It's been sooo nice :D

Sissy still thinks her dad haven't decided on the puppy yet which is good...

The girl puppy is in the middle. They are still little that they don't have their eyes opened yet! They were born on July 27th. I did remind Sissy that I WON'T be able to help much with the pup since the Little Hawk is coming too!

She says she understands so I'm wondering how long it will be before she forgets...
