**CLOSED** LocalPages.com {Review & Giveaway}

Congrats to Mari!

I don't use phone book anymore. It just goes directly into the recycling bin when they are delivered to my house. I use the internet, like most people, to get information that I want. There's so much info that can be obtained online.

This is my first time to actual visit the Local Pages. You can find local deals, coupons, local news, and local events at the top of the pages. I didn't get any news or events when I checked on mine, though. The display in the upper right-hand corner showed today's date and the current temperature.

Local Pages has generously providing a GC to any clothing retailer found on Local Pages. I used the search word "clothing" and this is what I found on my listing on my first page:

Shop Baby Kisses And Princess Party Palace
A Unique Boutique
Aeropostale 443

I did also get some jeweler and LensCrafters on my search that I didn't think was relevant. We need to finish our basement soon. My niece is planning on staying with us in a few months so I'll be doing my search for that!

Connect with Local Pages:

CoverGirl Nature Luxe Collection {Review}

Cover Girl has a new collection called NatureLuxe. This new luxury line exchanges select heavy synthetics for carefully-chosen natural ingredients.

The new NatureLuxe Silk Foundation trades in a heavier emollient for a touch of cucumber water and a hint of natural jojoba and rosehip extracts. Available in 14 shades, oil-free, SPF 10, and dermatologist tested. Suggested to retail for $11.99.

For me the foundation didn't leave a heavy feeling. It covered up some area of light age spot but not the redness around my nose. I had to re-do the foundation because of my dry cheeks. After a gentle scrub to my cheeks the foundation appeared smooth and light. I picked the oak (350).  The shade that I picked was a little dark right now but would be perfect once summer is here! I used my fingertip to put on the foundation and a little goes a long way.

The new NatureLuxe Gloss Balm contains a lightweight blend of mango, shea, and other natural butters for a sheer color with a non-sticky, lightweight feel. Available in 16 shades and SPF 15. Suggested to retail for $6.49.

I was still able to smell a hint of a lipstick "scent" even though it isn't lipstick. It went on smooth and light if I conditioned my lips beforehand. When I had dry lips the Gloss Balm didn't help soften or moisturize my lips. I got the grenache (235) which was closer to my natural lip color. I could've gone with a darker color for a more dramatic look.

Get with COVERGIRLS:

I have 5 coupons for $2 off the Silk Foundation. Leave a comment and let me know. If there's more than 5 people interested I'll use random.org to pick the names. I'll leave it open for a week before picking out the names. Thanks for the interest!

This has been a COVERGIRL NatureLuxe BzzCampaign. I'm a BzzAgent and was provided a free sample of the collection to faciliate this review. My reviews are base solely on my opinions only and may differ from others but were not influenced by the company or the free product provided. Meet the Planets {Review}

Written by John McGranaghan
Illustrated by Laurie Allen Klein
Ages 5-10
Hardcover: $16.95
Paperback: $ 8.95
eBook: $ 7.95 for 1 yr (Auto-flip, Auto-read, Selectable English & Spanish text and audio)

Meet the Planets:  Soar into the Solar System to witness the first Favorite Planet Competition, emceed by none other than the former-ninth planet, now known as dwarf planet Pluto. The readers become the judges after the sun can’t pick a favorite and the meteors leave for a shower. Who will the lucky winning planet be? Could it be speedy-messenger Mercury, light-on-his-feet Saturn, or smoking-hot Venus? Readers learn about each planet as Pluto announces them with short, tongue-in-cheek facts. Children will enjoy searching the art for all the references to people of science, history, space technology, constellations, art, and classic literature.

All of Sylvan Dell titles feature a special “For Creative Minds” section at the end of each story with teaching and educational activities and quizzes to enhance the book’s educational value, including time & temperature, distance from the sun, and much more!

The book was an easy read. The age was right on but even BabyGirl (will be 3 yo in a week!) was able to sit through the whole book without any problems. The pictures were colorful and detailed. Sissy didn't want to read it at first. After reading it, Sissy kept trying to quiz me over the information! She had recently learned about the planets, so that was GREAT. I love the idea of learning through reading. Educational and fun and they didn't know it, except, of course for Sissy!

If you're interested in getting a free copy of this book, visit my blogger friend, Dina at Just Another New Blog to win one!

**CLOSED** Basic H2 Earth Day Blog Hop {Review & Giveaway}

Welcome to the Earth Day Blog Hop. I hope that you had a chance already to START at the hostess blog, A Home Made By Kiki, which I met at the UBP a few weeks ago. Follow along through the blog hop so you will be able to collect the letters in the correct order and then email the completed phrase to healthy-solutions AT hotmail DOT com. Collected them all and be eligible to enter the fabulous GRAND PRIZE Giveaway (to be announce on April 22nd on her blog).

Shaklee is offering a FREE MEMBERSHIP with all orders of $30 or more. Contact Kiki for more details on how to save even more money on unadvertised specials.

Now you're wondering what the giveaway is for...I was a little skeptical but also intrigue about using this Shaklee Basic H2! Each Basic H2 sample contains enough to make (each 16 oz) 1 full size bottle of all purpose cleaner and 1 full size bottle of window cleaner. It is nontoxic and biodegradable and economical! Kiki mentioned that you can also use it "full-strength" and it works great for laundry stains, sharpie marks on furniture, crayons marks on walls, removing residue from stickers or price tags, etc, which I haven't been able to try out yet!

My kids and their greasy hands on the walls. The Basic H2 diminished the stains on this wall. (Click on the images to see it in full screen.)

Even the faucet look shiny and reflective using the all-purpose spray!

For the glass cleaner you just use 2, yes just 2 drops of the H2 and add it to the water!

That's pretty impressive! No streaks and I can see my reflection on the glass, too! I probably could've use the glass cleaner on the faucet, too. Visit here under Save $$$ to view the Cost Comparison Chart at Kiki's blog.

Collect this letter : "a"...now it's time to hop on over to Condo Blues. Thanks for entering this giveaway and have fun on this blog hop. Good luck, everyone!

**CLOSED** Math Blaster {Review & Giveaway}

Congrats to Dina at Just Another New Blog!

Math Blaster

I did a review for Jumpstart last year in February. Since then they've launched another new
interactive futuristic online adventure called Math Blaster.  This site was just launched in January. This new math game was created to help build math skills among children ages 6-12 while entertaining them with intergalactic space games. Kids can create avatars called Blaster Cadet.  Sissy is Zoe LittleSun. Bubbie hasn't set up an avatar yet to this site. He just turned 5.

They explore the galaxy for themselves as they become the newest cadets at Blaster Academy. After completing arcade-style math challenges and racing through high-speed missions, they become members of the Intergalactic Space Patrol and explore a futuristic world, voyage to strange new planets and discover wacky alien races, all while practicing their math skills.

Membership to Jumpstart and Math Blaster are linked, so kids can explore both sites! I know this since Sissy ends up at Jumpstart when she trying to do Math Blaster. I'm hoping she will play more of the math skills and practice her multiplications...

Get behind the scenes, learning tips and more at their blog and Facebook:

Win it: Free six months membership to Math Blaster! Membership are about $8/month, so that's a RV $48!
