It all started 9 yrs 9 months ago when my daughter was born. Back then, I used to have a "regular camera" where you put the films in and bring it to the store to have it developed! It reminded me of my dad. He still had one until I recently brought him a digital camera this Father's Day! It was actually hilarious trying to see my dad snap pictures and cranking the camera up :D The good-old-days...NOT! After about the 2nd kids the family went digital. The pictures did dwindle down a bit, sorry Bubbie and Baby Girl. (But I did get their baby books done!)
Now I just upload the pictures to Shutterfly.com to share my photos with a click of the mouse! There's so much you can do nowadays :D You can also customized for a baby shower invitations, birthday cards, grad announcements, wedding invitations, and thank you notes.
I've done a few photo books. The last one is the Winter Book of the kids last year. I must've uploaded from my desktop because I can't find it on My Pictures. From experience it's not a very good place to store family pictures. I've gotten 2 other broken PCs that I can get pictures :( The photo book have a variety of layouts, backgrounds, text boxes, stickers, and cover options that you can personalized. The winter season will be here sooner than I think it would be. I did a Christmas Card in 2008. Gosh, has it been that long since I did another one?! I don't know if you can see the pic. This was when Baby Girl was only 7 months old. She wasn't too happy with Santa. Sissy's trying to comfort her. There's plenty of different backgrounds to choose from and it's like I mentioned before, easy to personalize.
Looks like I have 2 projects to do this winter: a Christmas card and a photobook of the new baby!
