This morning we had a dentist appointment for Bubbie to get his first filling! I took a pic but was unable to download it from my Zire 72. I don't have the orginally USB connection. I don't even use much of the apps. Bubbie also wiped out my whole address book, calendar, and photos (that wasn't in the memory card) a week ago! I was really TICKED OFF but he kept saying he was "Soorry, Mommy". So I couldn't get too mad at him.
The filling went fine and we were out of the office fast. The most interesting part was I forgot Baby Girl's diaper. I forgot to actually PUT ONE ONE HER! I didn't even realize it until I got her out of the car in the parking lot. She was STARK NAKED except for the dress she was wearing. OOOPS! Thank goodness I had a spare GroBaby in the diaperbag! What would I have done if I didn't have one. We were on time to the appointment. What would you do?!
*****************************************************************
Today was nice. I opened the window to air out the house. We went out to play. Bubbie's been practicing a little on his bike with training wheels. He couldn't get the pedaling down but with a little practice did great!
He also had his first fall. Mommy didn't think he was going too fast but he needs his helmet the next time he rides, though.
I hope everyone is enjoying the nice weather!

Spring Break?
The kids and I got home yesterday. We've been staying up late and sleeping till 9 at times! Baby Girl's been great. She's only cried out once during the night. I'm glad to be home. It was nice not having to worry about what to cook, though
I've been hearing about getting snow! It was just 60° when we left and now there's snow on the ground when we woke up! Only in Kansas...
Lucky for Sissy, she doesn't have school until Tuesday!

Spring Break Happy Birthday!
Spring Break is officially here. We had Bubbie's 4th B-day this Sunday. It was simple with my family.
Nothing too crazy here. The weather was wet, cloudy and cool, so we just stayed inside. No bounce house or pinata. I don't think Bubbie even noticed! Bubbie had 2 birthdays. One on his real date and then the family party, so he got 2 cakes
. I ate mostly all of the first cake by myself. (The kids help a little bit
!) Hubby smoked some ribs. It's was finger-licking good. I also gained a couple of tween kids for 2 days. It's been interesting. We're dropping the nieces off tomorrow...

Bare Escentuals bareMinerals SPF Foundation { Review }
I've introduced you to the RethinkWhatMatters.com earlier last month here. Each week there is a new discussion and you can still instantly win free products and other fantastic goodies. The Grand Prize will be announce at the end of March for a trip of a lifetime to Europe or even Asia!
"Made with 100% pure bareMinerals both the Original and MATTE SPF 15 Foundations are clinically proven to improve skin over time and are free of preservatives, talc, oil, waxes, fragrances, and other chemicals that can irritate skin. Both formulas impart a silky weightless texture while providing adjustable coverage, benefiting women of all ages and skin types, including those concerned with skin issues such as allergies, scars, blemishes, rosacea, wrinkles and pigmentation."
BareMinerals introduces the following new shades in both the Original and new MATTE formulas: Golden Fair, Fairly Medium, Golden Tan, Warm Dark and Warm Deep. There are actually 20 different colors!
Make-up doesn't make the person. I know this is such a cliche but it really is how you feel on the inside! It should enhance you.
I received the Matte SPF in Light Medium. I have combination skin which is tough for me that I decided to forgo foundation after college! I've never had tried bareMinerals before until recently. It's light when it goes on. I really can't tell that the foundation is on until, of course, I wipe it off with a tissue. My cheeks still show some peeling from the dry areas. I like that the shininess on my forehead and nose are gone!
Connect with Bare Escentuals on Facebook and on Twitter.
I did receive the SPF Foundation at no-cost. My reviews are base solely on my opinions only. Read more about my Disclosure Policy. I'm still awaiting words if a giveaway is possible. Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

**CLOSED** PicPocket Books { Review & Giveaway }
Congrats to Traci Fritz at On the Fritz!
B O O K S
PicPocket Books are digital books that you can download from iTunes App Store on either an iPhone or iPod Touch OS 3.0. Prices vary from $0.99 to $3.99 per book. Unfortunately
One of my brother's kids use the iPhone to play games. And their fingers are fast when they play it! They know how to easily navigate. They're 5 and 6 yrs old! It's great that they can download educational stuff, too. I'm all for that!
We love books at our house. We have books of different sizes, hardcover, paperback, etc. We also have a bunch of book-type products that are able to read & make sounds for the kids. Each stories have different cassettes, keeping track of all the accessories are so cumbersome. So, when Lynette offer me to do this R&G. I was delighted!
Round is a Mooncake:
by Roseanne Thong, Illustrated by Grace Lin
Ages: 4-8 years
Overview"A Book Of Shapes: A little girl’s urban neighborhood becomes a discovery ground of things round, square and rectangular in this lyrical picturebook. Most of the objects are Asian in origin, others universal: round rice bowls and a round pebble, square dim sum and the boxes that pizza comes in, rectangular Chinese lace and a very special pencil case. Bright, whimsical art accompanies narrative rhyme and a short glossary adds cultural significance to the objects featured in the book."
"Likes that you can see the pictures while the text is highlighted. Good way to keep young kids attention as you point to the pictures. Very educational--I like the end where it explains what those items are." -reviewed by Kim
Oh, Crumps!by Lee Bock, Illustrated by Morgan Midgett
Ages: 6-10 years
Overview:"Farmer Felandro just has to get some sleep. He has many chores to do come morning. But,Oh, crumps! First the goats need his attention, then it’s the dogs, next the cows are mooing, and on and on. With all this commotion, the tired farmer gets his list of the coming day’s chores confused as he becomes sleepier and sleepier."
"Fun that you can touch the animals and hear the sounds they make. Doesn't grab your attention when it only has text on one screen. Might be good for the much older kids." -reviewed by Kim
by Emilie Boon
Ages: 2-5 yearsOverview:
Peterkin Meets a Star is the sweet
"App keeps crashing after the 2nd page. Unable to view the whole book." -1st review by Kim
Lynette was very help and gave us another code for Kim to try out. Will update when I have a response from her...
by Robert Gould
Ages: 2-6 years
Overview:"Kids clamor to check out tractors on the farm and at construction sites. Colorful high interest digital graphics have a visceral appeal for kids who are fascinated by tractors, trucks and other machinery. Young children will love the huge wheels, heavy hitches and awesome cabs in this engaging book, and parents will appreciate the subtle humor and outrageous expressions of the BIG STUFF™ kids."
"Similar to "Round is a Mooncake"-- Likes that you can see the pictures while the text is highlighted. Good way to keep young kids attention as you point to the pictures. Likes that you can touch the tractors to hear the sounds. Pictures are okay but seems repetitive." -review by Kim

I did a R&G of the EvoraPlus™ awhile back in 2009. I love that it was a complete oral care for kids AND adult. They now have a kids version called EvoraKids™ . It is similar to the EvoraPlus except it comes in a Wild Very Cherry Berry Flavor and is geared toward ages 3-10.
EvoraKids™ provide the same ProBiora3 probiotics.
- EvoraKids™ works around the clock
- 100% natural
- No artificial colors or flavors
- No wheat, gluten, soy or GMOs
- No sugar or artificial sweeteners
- Safe and gentle
- Delicious flavor kids love
- Simple for kids to take on their own
Bubbie actually likes the flavor and texture of it. He DID make a face when he first tastedit but I showed him the Tooth Fairy on the box. He smiled and said "Yummy!" Bubbie likes to suck on the tablet and spit it out on his hand to see it changed sizes until it disappeared! Now he asked for it
Sissy said "It taste like rock!" Sissy did agreed when I suggested it tasted chalky. I guess she didn't like the texture! This is what she had to say about it, "It taste nasty but it works!" She was remarking about how my teeth were whiter.
So there you have it ...
Buy It: EvoraKids™ sells for ARV $19.99 + shipping. It is also available in selected retail and online stores here. (Check the bottom of the page.) It comes in a 30-day supply package. You can receive free shipping and handling, in the US only, if orders are over $35. They also have a 100% money-back guarantee!
Win it: Mandatory entry: Visit EvoraKids™ and tell me an interesting fact that you learned. This giveaway will end on March 29 at 1159PM CST. Giveaway is available worldwide! Winners will have 72 hrs to respond or another winner will be picked.
